Another Gen Con is in the history books…and as usual it took a bit of time to recover.
On July 30th at a pre-Gen Con private event, Shaun (as Sister Innocence the thief), Greg (as Sister Miriam the cleric), Adam (as Murkwater Myr the pyromancer), and JD (as Craven the Stomper the marauder) barely, but bravely, completed their quest in Frog Nuns of Anurgugszet. A TPK seemed possible, if not imminent, but the party survived.
On July 31st, David (as Damen the slayer), Rob (as Grodd the demigiant marauder), Kelsey (as Millie Gravesong the slayer), Cecilie (as O’Lottie the cleric), James (as Steve the cleric), and Bryan (as Raven the archer) faced the horrors of Forbidden Fleshomancy.
On August 1st, Martin (as Ironmace the dwarven cleric), Anne (as Lytelle the elven sellsword), Jeff (as The Chuckster the snake style warrior monk), Laz (as Borsh the halfling), and Carlos (as Shaelyn the high elf conjurer) also faced the horrors of Forbidden Fleshomancy. While the party succeeded in their quest, Chuckster perished and has now joined those fallen heroes honored in The Heroes’ Graveyard.
On August 2nd, Paul (as Phil the slayer), Matt (as Archbold the conjurer), Scott (as Maelstrom the Uncouth), Drew (as Percy D. Flatypus the thief), Richard (as Corwin the infantry warrior), and Sarah (as Urgoth the dwarven cleric) exterminated their vermin foes in The Ratcatcher of Rigvavod.
