Per the Beyond the Threshold RPG rulebook, a cynocephalus (dog-headed humanoid) is not technically a monster because cynocephali are playable characters and a monster is defined as a creature not of a playable ancestry.

However, this bulldog-headed cynocephalus is an opponent in “Red Rover’s Reavers”- an upcoming Beyond the Threshold RPG adventure which I will be running at Gary Con and Who’s Yer Con in March (and then again at Gen Con in August). I am actively prepping for that session and was excited to share this brute!
